Composition: Rule of Thirds, Pyramid, Diangoal.

Rule of Thirds: The rule of thirds is a concept in photography that splits a photo into 9 parts, and having the subject be in one of the thirds; the bottom, top, left, or right. I tried to take each photo with the subject close to one of the four corners, making sure they are in one of the thirds that are in the bottom, top, left, or right.

Pyramid: The pyramid composition in photography is the concept that either has a literal pyramid/triangle shaped object in it, or an object or object that make the shape of a pyramid. When I was trying to take a picture for this composition, I thought deeply about the lines created by the subject(s) in the picture. If I was creating a pyramid with the subject, I needed to make sure it was obviously the focal point and not lost in the picture. If the pyramid shape was already there for me in the picture, I made sure that it was center frame and clearly the subject.

Diagonal: The diagonal concept in photography is very versatile. This composition can be executed in many ways. One way of creating a diagonal composition is by tilting the camera until everything in the frame has a diagonal tilt. Another way is to capture something that is already diagonal, or creating a diagonal object. These were the two strategies I used for my diagonal photos. I also had to make sure that the diagonal line(s) were the clear subjects instead of getting lost in the rest of the photo.
